August’s Free PlayStation Games are as follows;
Rebel Galaxy, PS4
Tricky Towers, PS4
Yakuza 5, PS3
Patapon 3, PS Vita
Ultratron, PS Vita, PS3, PS4
A pretty good selection until you hit the
I dip into Rebel Galaxy everyone and then for a day or so and would recommend it for anyone who enjoys games a bit like Freelancer from way back when.
Also interest in giving Yakuza a go because I have never played one of them before.

Eurogamer got the scoop and I am impressed: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-07-26-nx-is-a-portable-console-with-detachable-controllers
(Note this image is just representative of the final product)
A portable tabled with detachable controllers for multiplayer and home gaming because you can hook it up to your TV via a base station. Powered by an Nvidia Tegra chip and some other bells and whistles. So it looks like the longterm plan of merging Nintendo's portable and home console hardware is paying off to produce this new machine.
Personally I am very excited because this is Nintendo playing to their strengths rather than playing catch up with Microsoft and Sony. Earlier rumours had it being heavily connected to mobile phones via bluetooth too so there is potential to use people's smartphones to handle things like online gaming on the go and that sort of thing which is cool.
Most importantly though because it is unified hardware that means that there will indeed be a steady stream of games for this thing because devs both internally and externally will no longer have to choose between making a title for 3DS or the Wii U.
They are meant to be doing the big unveiling in September but for now I am super excited to see what this device is capable of, what sort of connectivity it will have and what games aside from Zelda it will have on it at launch.

(This was my fave thread on ye olde forum so I'll start a new one)
I'm dividing my time between Ratchet and Clank 2 (Vita), Table Top Racing (Vita) and Trials (PS4).
I'm not playing any "triple A" games at the moment; Watch Dogs, Killzone, Assassin's Creed 4 and CoD Ghosts are just sitting on the shelf at the moment. I'll go back to them when the mood takes me.

Interestingly, I've read today that preorders for this game were selling almost 2-1 in Sony's favour, which makes it even more baffling that Square decided to make it Xbox (timed) exclusive, even if MS are being dicks and not revealing for how long their exclusivity period is.

The last DLC details:
Featured in Final Stand will be a number of “secret prototype weapons and vehicles”, including a “Battle pick-up rail gun that fires a single round of powerful kinetic energy”, and a pretty ace sounding hover tank prototype, which “uses eight experimental jet propulsion engines to nimbly move around the battlefield.”
The new maps are called Operation Whiteout, Hammerhead, Giants of Karelia and Hangar 21.
