Guru Josh died yesterday - probably means nothing to most people but back in 1990 his tune "Infinity" (along with Adamski's "Killer") ruled my world.

Rest in peace.

David Bowie is gone Crying or Very sad

I don't really have words to describe it. His library of music, career and attitude to life in general had a profound effect on my life.

The word legend is often overused, not in David Bowie's case. A true musical genius and maverick, always innovative, always changing he leaves behind an amazing musical legacy that will be appreciated forever.

Not really a fan of his music but still a giant of the music scene. 11th of Jan and two legends already gone.

I imagine for both Bowie and Rickman having one last Christmas with friend and family helped keep them around until this terrible death filled month started.

We also lost Brian Bedford the same day as Alan Rickman. He was the voice of Robin Hood in the Disney cartoon - a voice I loved in my childhood!

RIP Guy Hamilton, director of 4 classic Bond movies such as Goldfinger. Live and Let Die would be my favourite of his though.

Andrew Sachs, best known as Manuel in Fawlty Towers. Passed away last week, aged 86, but his death announced by his family yesterday.

It's been a terrible year for losing great TV and music talent.
